Volunteer Information
North Emmet Little League depends on the support of our families to help create a great experience for all players. To keep our league running smoothly throughout the season, each family is required to participate in volunteer service.
Work Bond Requirement
At the time uniforms are picked up, each family must submit a $50 work bond by cash or check.
Families will receive their full $50 work bond back once they have completed a total of 3 volunteer hours during the season.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer hours may be completed through a variety of league roles, including:
- Coaching
- Assistant coaching
- Working the concession stand
- Umpiring
- Dugout parent
- Scorekeeping
Signing Up and Tracking Hours
To sign up for volunteer opportunities and track completed hours, parents are expected to use SignUpGenius.
All available shifts will be posted there, and families are responsible for selecting and scheduling their own volunteer times.
Important Reminder
It is each family’s responsibility to ensure their volunteer hours are completed and recorded during the season in order to receive their work bond refund.
